David Chaskes began his career in New York in private industry, and then spent nearly a decade in senior and management positions with a large regional, California-based CPA and advisory firm before striking out on his own. In 1994, after managing his own firm for nine years, he joined with his former colleague Steven Kazdoy from the same large regional firm to form Chaskes Kazdoy.

His professional experience includes work with companies and their owners in industries ranging from textiles, apparel, importing and manufacturing to medical practices, services, software development and entertainment. With each client, he’s drawn on his distinctive ability to proactively bring their goals and objectives to life through business consulting, financial reporting and tax strategies. When it comes to actually implementing these strategies within his clients’ organizations, he brings an ability to simplify accounting principles for the layman, making the most complicated financial matters actionable for the business owner.

Whether his role is that of a business consultant, CPA, sounding board or confidante, David is always a trusted resource, an objective advisor and a true champion for his clients’ success.
